Unveiling Identity: How I Became a Muslim Unitarian Universalist

Raised as an American Muslim in the US, Alicia Living lived, taught, and raised her children for almost a decade in the Middle-East before returning to the US. She discovered Unitarian Universalism as a way of living true to her values and as her whole self. She shares how accepting all parts of ourselves can help us reclaim our power, heal, and grow.

Alicia is an author, survivor, and advocate for survivor-led abuse prevention and awareness. She is the Director of Communications at the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Alicia enjoys writing and is raising two amazing children with her husband in West Warwick.

Music will be provided by Brian Bartling.
