Join us for “Got Race?” a presentation by noted theologian, author, and Emmy award-winning television producer Rev. Dr. Thandeka at First Unitarian on Monday, October 1, at 7pm in the Meeting House (sanctuary). A light supper will be served at 6pm, followed by the lecture at 7pm. The public is cordially invited to attend.

“Got Race?” traces the history of racial identity-formation in America, showing how racial identities were “invented” in America to keep both blacks and whites in their place. The presentation provides an alternative to shame- and blame-based anti-racism programs.
