On Tuesday, May 15, members and friends First Unitarian will meet at the church at 3pm to walk to the State House. to deliver letters and cards in support of passage of three bills:
Assault Weapons Ban of 2018 (HB 7766/SB2493)
Safe Schools Act of 2018 (HB 7591/SB2289)
High Capacity Magazine Ban (HB 7645/SB2319)
The church parking lot will not be available for parking due to building renovations. The group will join others at 3:30pm at the Smith Street entrance to the State House to speak with legislators, deliver the letters and cards from First Unitarian, and urge support of the three bills.
