Lessons From the Bedside

When Channing Gray became a Buddhist in search of enlightenment, he never suspected his path would lead to the bedsides of the dying. He never dreamed the life lessons he sought on the meditation cushion would be revealed in how we die. Join Channing as he shares his decade-long journey as a hospice volunteer.

Channing Gray spent 40 years at the Providence Journal as feature writer and critic. He lives on the East Side of Providence with his partner, Christian, and their amazing cat, Milo, spending his retirement building furniture in his basement, playing Bach on the piano and volunteering for hospice.

Music for the service will be provided by Chris Sanzo. If you cannot join us in person, click here to join our YouTube livestream at 10:00 am.
