New membership class begins in February

Are you thinking about becoming a member of First Unitarian? Or would you just like to find out more about Unitarian Universalism or First Unitarian Providence? A new Path to Membership class on the weekend of February 24th-25th can provide you with the information you need.

The two-session class begins on Saturday, February 24, from 2-5pm. A second session follows the Sunday service on February 25th, 12-2pm, and includes a light lunch before a history and tour of the church. Rev. Liz Lerner Maclay, our minister; Cathy Seggel, religious education director; and Jenn Nardone, membership coordinator, lead the class. Childcare will be provided if requested in advance.

To register, you can fill out a form available in the Newcomers’ Cafe and on the membership board in the Parish House hallway, contact Jenn Nardone by email at mem@firstunitarianprov.org, or phone the church office at 401-421-7970. If you are interested but cannot attend the February class, let Jenn know and she can sign you up for the class later in the church year. You can find her after Sunday services in the Newcomers’ Cafe in Parish Hall, first doorway on the right, in the parlor behind the fireplace.
