Join us for our March Parish House Potluck Supper –

“Voting Rights and Wrongs”

Everyone, young and old and in between, is welcome at these monthly gatherings of members and friends of the congregation for food, fun, and fellowship.

Times:

5:45 Reception in the Atrium

6:00 Pot Luck Supper in the Parish House parlors:

Bring a dish to share that serves eight to ten people: main dish, vegetable, salad, beverage or dessert.

7:45 Program in the Auditorium

Donation: $2 per person / $5 per family at the door

Program: Voting Rights and Wrongs
Speaker: Steven Brown, Executive Director of the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union)

Sponsored by The World Affairs Committee, the program will shed light on the issues around voting rights in our country and how they impact our civil liberties. Efforts to limit voting rights by cutting back early voting, closing polling places, purging voter rolls, restricting voting to camera-perfect registration, and denying the vote to released felons, is a threat to our democracy.

Reservations for the dinner are strongly requested.

Please fill out the tear-off form in the Sunday Order of Service and put it in the collection plate or take it to the Parish House Pot Luck Suppers table in the Atrium during Coffee Hour or call the church office in advance (401.421.7970). Childcare for infants and children to age 10 will be available for parents who request in advance.

Mark your calendar for future Parish House Pot Luck Suppers!

Note that there will be a second Saturday Supper in April at an earlier hour to accommodate families with younger children.
