The Rhode Island Council of Churches will be awarding First Unitarian with a Hero of Faith Award for our work on getting the sanctuary movement started in our state. The award will be given at a fundraising breakfast on November 2, 7:30–10:30a at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, 60 Rhodes Place, Cranston. All are welcome to attend with the purchase of a $35 ticket.
