The Providence Athenæum invites you to an evening of conversation with Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director of The Public Theater. Mr. Eustis has transformed theater with his dedication to the development of new plays as a director, dramaturg, and producer. He’s nurtured the creation of such hits as the Tony Award-winning Fun Home and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s revolutionary hip-hop musical Hamilton. Regarded worldwide as a leading force in American theater, he will discuss the journey and ideas behind his work.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.  For more information and to register, visit provath.org/calendar or call 401-421-6970.

The Providence Athenæum is an independent, member-supported library and cultural center located on Providence’s historic Benefit Street. Over its nearly 200 years of existence, the library has welcomed illustrious writers, spirited thinkers, and energetic community members through its doors to engage in reading, conversation, and debate. At its heart, the Athenæum encourages a love of reading and learning to all. Learn more at provath.org.
