In 2015, the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, Janice made her first trip to Turkey. Here is what she learned about nationalism, alternative facts, and the immense courage of truth-tellers. Janice is a lifelong Unitarian Universalist and a professor of Gender and Women’s Studies at Rhode Island College. Her grandparents were survivors of the Armenian Genocide.
