First Unitarian awarded for work in becoming RI’s first Sanctuary Congregation

The First Unitarian Church of Providence was presented with a Heroes of Faith Congregational Award on Thursday, November 2nd, for its work in becoming the first Sanctuary Congregation in Rhode Island. The award was given by the Rhode Island State Council of Churches at the Eighth Annual Heroes of Faith Breakfast at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet.
