Join us for a Congregational Conversation on our new safe church policy .
In a major initiative to make First Unitarian a safe and welcoming place for everyone, the Prudential Committee approved a new Safe and Civil Church Policy. Jay Glasson, PruComm president, recently announced the new policy by email to the congregation.
A sub-group of the PruComm, headed by Cynthia Rosengard when she was president, worked for several years to research and develop a comprehensive safe church policy that addresses professional misconduct complaints, promotes appropriate behavior, and covers response to threats and incidents.
